1998 Monument Ave is a film by Ted Demme, not the best one ever but Dulli got a small role and wrote some music. If you get a chance to see it, remember to wait until the end credits and you'll hear Dulli's "Black Love" - one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. That's really where I got it from.
